Open Policy Agent (OPA) is an open-source policy engine, and Rego is its declarative language. Together they let teams distribute compliance logic into infrastructure, CI/CD, and control plane workflows.
Role in LexPons
LexPons generates OPA/Rego export formats for organisations that need to operationalise compliance policy inside cloud and enterprise environments. In the LexPons stack this is a delivery format, not the primary canonical or execution layer.
